Birmingham, Alabama-based tax, assurance and advisory, and real estate consulting firm Tidwell Group, is joining EisnerAmper in a transaction expected to close in May 2024.

Founded in 1997, Tidwell has 40 partners and a staff of more than 200 professionals, EisnerAmper said in a statement yesterday.

Tidwell has six offices across Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Ohio. In addition to tax and A&A services, Tidwell has a presence in real estate, affordable housing, HUD and USDA-rural development compliance, renewable energy projects, and construction.

In December, EisnerAmper acquired tax, and business consulting firm Hughes Pittman & Gupton.
